Without pen and paper
April 9, 2008 by cathiew
Today in our e-learning class, the lecturer Matthew Kearney made a comment about learning in the past. He asked the question of how students learnt before pen and paper. Although this may have only been a passing comment, it has truely got me thinking. Today there are inifinite ways to learn. Whether you are a visual learner, prefer hearing things or need to do things for example, there are many learning methods which cater for your needs and different learnings styles. But what did happen before pen/pencil and paper? What kind of opportunities were children given to learn in the past?
